type 2 since May 2011 A1C then was 13.2. Apr 21, 2020. #1. Had a bad experience with getting a faulty Libre sensor replaced. I called the support number, the woman I spoke with was very hard to understand. Her English was not good. Me, being a little hard of hearing, did not help..even with my hearing aids. The bad sensor gave me a reading of 47.The Libre 2 sensors have serious QC issues at the moment. Of the last 8 sensors I have had direct from Abbott 5 have failed on startup - basically two thirds of them give "Sensor Error" after the hour initialisation and then after numerous further errors tell me the Sensor has Ended and I need to replace.
