Hi, I have a 2015 Silverado 2500HD with a new 8' Fisher SS HDX Plow that has an intermittent power loss issue. The fish stik controller shuts off on it's own within seconds of using it in the middle of plowing. The red power indicator light goes off, but the background illumination light stays lit.

Dec 11, 2016 · Try unplugging the controller inside the truck and plugging it back in. Check the plow/truck connections too to make sure they're clean and tight. Yes, the plow will operate from the switches without comm to the controller. Remember the controller must be off ( no red light ) for the plow to work at the switches. 15 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Nov 21, 2014 (Edited) I have no power to my Fisher Plow. I have a M2M plow with 2 plugs and a 3 port module. The power light is Off at the control. I checked for voltage at the plug and there is power there. I checked for voltage at the Motor relay and there is power there. There is no power at the Hydraulic Unit.When left control is pushed nothing happens. Note: Plow is 11yrs old, i only use on my personal driveway, prior to this season no issues with performance just annual fluid changes. This season i have had numerous issues a bad B&C wiring harness, new hand held controller, new plow lights and a loose connection at the 6 pin molex connector.

Yes but if the controller isn't turning on, then power will never come out of the solenoid. The solenoid won't turn on the plow motor unless the controller calls for it to. But if the controller isn't turning on, then the solenoid will stay off forever.
